re BC Ferries killing VI Economy

Isn't the ferries supposed to be a necessity to allow freedom of travel to the rest of Canada, But no its actually an Monopoly that few Canadians actually understand, any where else in the world this would be rendered illegal and immoral, not to mention that the impact on Tourism is killing trade in Victoria as the cost to use the ferry service is more than a flight to Vancouver or Seattle, when is this going to stop will VI residents get of there asses and do something to stop this injustice, Perhaps if they stopped paying stupid bonuses to BC ferrys VP that might be a start, Perhaps Harpers interest and personal investment in this company tells you all you have to know.

Yet again another example of some self-entitled loser that would rather bellyache instead of actually looking for solutions. I guess you expect the rest of the tax payers in BC to fund your lifestyle choice. You don't want to pay ferry fares, yet you insist on living on an island. You are the same type of loser that whines about taxes, yet expect us to fund ever last aspect of your miserable lifestyle. Why don't fuck off and die already. Piece of shit, you are probably on welfare anyways. Getting pretty boring listing to the same old rabble from the hippie crowd. I bet you aren't even from here. Just some other piece of shit implant from the somewhere else who seems to think they have a say on things here. I have been living on this island for my entire life. Other than stints in Vancouver, and Toronto, I have been an island boy the entire time. This place is beautiful, unique, different than any other place in Canada. The fact that its an island is part of its charm. If you can't afford the pay the ferry fare, then fuck off and move to the mainland.
